There are so many things to celebrate, following our 6th annual Gala on March 25, 2017.

You made a difference! The Arizona Lutheran Academy Gala was a huge success because of your participation and generosity. We praise God for his blessings, and we praise Him for what he did through you. Our donors and sponsors were amazing! You joined together on Saturday night to make a difference in the life of an ALA student. Gala attendance was terrific, you helped us exceed our goal --raising over $60,000! The atmosphere was lively and exciting. It was a great night for ALA and its students.

Thank you for your support and please join us in thanking our gracious God for his blessings.   

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3: 20, 21

2016 IN REVIEW...

The 5th annual ALA Gala, Heart of Phoenix, on March 12, 2016 was a wonderful evening. We celebrated 30 years of blessings on our campus in the heart of Phoenix, and almost $45,000 was raised towards two great projects! 
 
                             
    Our Goal
  • Our goal for this big event is to support our students in two ways:

    1. Campus improvements, including a shade canopy and a digital marquee sign. The shade will replace the current temporary shade structure and provide ample shaded space for lunch and outdoor activities. A new sign would replace our thirty-year-old entrance sign, allowing us to promote more events and increase visibility.

    2. Assist our ALA families with need-based tuition assistance. Many families need a helping hand to make an ALA education possible for their children. We know that academic and character development benefits students, families, and the community. Everyone wins.

    We are honoring our alumni who graduated from ALA in years ending in 2 or 7 as our special Gala guests. Alumni in the classes of 1982,1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012 may purchase 2 tickets (for yourself and a guest) at this discounted "reunion" rate. Enjoy a delicious meal with a local flair, plus a silent and live auction, entertainment, and an evening of fun!

  • In honor of our alumni celebrating a reunion in 2017, all alumni who graduated from ALA in years ending in 2 or 7 can attend the 2017 Gala for half-price. That's right, 50% off for our ALA reunion-year alumni and a guest!

    Additionally, we will make every attempt to seat you with graduates from your class. So round up your classmates and have your 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30-year reunion at the Gala! We'll do all the planning!

    Student Participation
  • Each student is encouraged to participate in the Gala in any of these ways: 
    1. Volunteer at the Gala! Sign up here.
    2. Send 15 Gala invitations to family or friends. (Invitations available in the ALA office.)
    3. Donate items/cash for our auction.  Donation form available here. Please bring donated items by March 8, 2017.
    4. Donate cash towards our VIP Boston Travel Excursion for 2: A Samuel Adams Brewery Tour in Boston, Post 390 Dinner, Fairmont Boston 3-Night Stay, and Airfare for 2. (This will be auctioned in the live auction at the Gala on March 25.)
