ACADEMICS

  • In addition to normal courses, ALA offers six Advanced Placement (AP) courses on campus and several other online, as well as dual enrollment courses (for college credit) through partnership with South Mountain Community College.

2017 ACCOLADES

  • 29 new members were inducted into the National Honor Society
  • 2 varsity teams earned AIA team awards with a team average GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • 30% of students play a varsity sport AND have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, thus earning the AIA Scholar-Award 
  • 20 seniors earned the President's Award for Excellence
  • 21 of our 38 seniors reported earned scholarships equaling $1.3 million for 4 years of college.

COLLEGE PLANNING

Arizona Lutheran Academy provides its students with assistance in preparing for college or university life.
Arizona Lutheran Academy offers:
  • testing programs include PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT and SAT.
  • individual meetings with guidance staff to discuss future goals and plans. Information is offered about college requirements and expectations, scholarships and financial aid opportunities.
  • post-high school planning workshops.
  • monthly updates and reminders regarding post-high school planning in our parent newsletter and our announcement blog.
