Billy Walters, 
ALA graduate and ASU student, and three of his ASU classmates created G3Box, a non-profit organization focused on converting steel shipping containers into medical grade clinics that can be shipped to different areas around the world. 

In December 2011, G3Box won Entrepeneur Magazine's College Entrepeneur of 2011 award!

 Ian Meshay
, ALA Class of 2011, made headlines as ALA Valedictorian and All-Star. Read the Ahwatukee Foothills article.

Ian Meshay and Adele Koutia, both members of the ALA Class of 2011, cousins, and graduation class speakers, and both excelled in the classroom and in athletics. Read the AZ Central article.

Jeremy Dittrich, ALA class of 1998, was recently honored as the 2010-11 Excellence in Education Teacher of the Year. The Excellence in Education program, sponsored by Rio Salado College and KEZ 99.9, recognizes dedicated K-12 teachers throughout the Valley for their outstanding contribution to education.

Dr. Katie (Dittbenner) Grund, ALA class of 2001, applied for and is the newest resident representative on the board of directors for the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians (AzAFP).

Justin Salzwedel, ALA class of 2006, has been lauded on air, in print, and throughout the Boise State basketball program for his commitment to the team, his character, and his positive attitude. He has just finished his Senior basketball season at Boise State, playing in the NCAA's CBI tournament.
