2018 VARSITY COACH'S REPORT:

Four years ago, many of our 11 seniors stepped foot onto the practice field having never played tackle football before. They led our team this year to a 9-3 record and they advanced to the quarterfinal round of the playoffs. Our program had an overall record of 14-5, so our future is bright. Winning records are indicative of the hard work, effort, commitment, and positive attitude that each player brought to our teams. But, winning is not what we are all about as a program. Along the journey of this season, relationships were created and bonds were strengthened that will last a lifetime. The teams had opportunities to grow in their faith and display that faith as they played and practiced. Thank you to our team moms, parents, families, and fans for your unwavering support. Thank you coaches for your dedication and work ethic in preparing these young men in football and for life.

Congratulations to our #ALACoyotefootball team on a fantastic season! The Coyotes fell to Round Valley in the quarter-finals of the 2A State Tournament. The team made us proud through their perseverance this year, and we loved watching them play.

2018 JV COACH'S REPORT:

The JV Football team finished their season last week with a 5-2 record.  This year's team consisted of 28 Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors.  Many of these student athletes played football this year for the first time.  Their hard work and willingness to learn was evident in the way the team played the game as well as by their record.  The future of ALA football looks bright.  Thank you to all the parents and fans for the great support this year through meal preparation before games and for your encouragement.  This year's team was coached by Adam Wiechmann, Ryan Goudeau, Scott Indahl, Troy Erhardt, and Joda Schaumberg.  Way to go Coyotes and thanks, coaches, for a great season!
