Arizona Lutheran Academy is pleased to announce that junior Hans Brauer earned a perfect 36 score on his ACT this spring! Congratulations to Hans and his parents, Pastor Bart & Erica Brauer.

Jake Borneman, ALA Class of 2019,  was selected to the 2018-19 azcentral sports All-Arizona wrestling team! (These are the top 7 wrestlers in the entire state.)

The Coyote wrestling team finished the season strong with a 7th place finish at State. • Brandon Garcia  and Gavin Davis finished in 3rd place. • Eva Schroeder finished in 4th. • Jozabad Ayala finished in 5th place.


In June 2018, Marcus Perez represented Arizona Lutheran Academy and the State of Arizona at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in Boston, MA. The Academies' primary founding principle is to honor high-achieving students dedicated to medicine or S.T.E.M. subjects.  Marcus was presented with is Award of Excellence by Principal Rosenbaum.

Luke Kiecker was recognized as a National Merit Scholarship Commended Scholar. Approximately 1.5 million high school students take the PSAT each year. Of those, 50,000 (3.3%) are Commended Scholars. Today Luke was presented with his Letter of Commendation from Principal Rosenbaum.

Based on the nominations from coaches and members of the Arizona high school basketball community, Sports360AZ introduces the 2017 Arizona All-Academic Boys Basketball Team for the 1A-3A Divisions spotlighting the best the state has to offer both on the basketball court as well as in the classroom.

ALA wrestling placed 4th out of 60 teams in the Division 4 State Championships. Brandon Garcia, a junior, became ALA's 3rd State Champion, taking the title at 152.



ALA Coyote football team receives the Arizona Football Officials Association Matt O. Hanhila Sportsmanship Award

The AzFOA has a long-standing tradition of recognizing that school that has embodied the highest caliber of sportsmanship consistently displayed through out the football season. The purpose of the award is to promote integrity and sportsmanship in the game of football.

Each year, one school from each conference who displays exemplary sportsmanship is presented with the award.

In celebration of our 40th year, we are embarking on a marketing campaign to connect more people to ALA. Have you seen the billboard at 27th Ave. and Baseline? We are thankful to our gracious God for 40 years of His unwavering blessings.
